There is some BREAKING MEDICAL NEWS that I must share with you right away:
We’ve found the CURE for heart disease!!!
That’s right, our NUMBER ONE killer of men and women — we’ve cured it! Eureka! Joyous day! Spread the good news as far and wide as you can!
The breakthrough came from the work of Dr. Dean Ornish, who just published his amazing results in The Lancet, one of the world’s most respected medical journals.
Dr. Ornish randomly assigned 28 patients with heart disease to his experimental group, and 20 to the “standard care” group. The experimental group were put on a low-fat, plant-based diet, quit smoking (only one of the 28 patients was a smoker, and she stopped), began moderate exercise, and received stress management support. The standard care group were not advised on lifestyle change of any kind and received the standard medical treatment for heart disease.
After one year, 82% of lifestyle patients had begun to reverse their heart disease, literally clearing their arteries of plaque!

This isn’t BREAKING NEWS! We’ve known the cure for heart disease for 25 years??? Why does no one talk about this? Why are we still spending BILLIONS of dollars a year on cholesterol-lowering drugs like statins? Why are we still dying by the hundreds of thousands every year from a completely preventable condition? Why do people still suffer?
It’s because of the meat and dairy. Dr. Ornish’s program cuts those products out. No one wants to do that!!
It’s because there is A LOT of money to be made in pharmaceuticals and hospital bills.
It’s because the marketing budget for BIG COW is bigger than the budget for BIG CAULIFLOWER (there is no Big Cauliflower, is there?).
Yet we’ve known for nearly my entire life how to reverse our number one killer. It’s criminal that this message isn’t more widely known!

If the truth be known coronary artery disease is a toothless paper tiger that need never ever exist and if it does exist it need never ever progress.
This shouldn’t happen anymore.
People shouldn’t die of heart disease.
Dr. William Clifford Roberts, Executive Director of Baylor Heart and Vascular Institute and long-time Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Cardiology states that cholesterol is “the only risk factor” for heart disease (SOURCE). Heart disease is unknown at a total cholesterol of 150 mg/dl or less! No known cases below this level! That is the average cholesterol of a vegan, by the way.
Unfortunately we set the “normal” range for cholesterol too high in this country, at 200 mg/dl. At this level we are putting millions of Americans at risk!
But there are only two truly effective ways of reaching a total cholesterol of 150 — take ridiculous amounts of statins, or eat a plant-based diet.
